Figure active du jazz français, ce guitariste-compositeur n’aime pas les étiquettes. En 1980, il crée le groupe Abus Dangereux. Début 90, il crée le New Trio, puis le 5tet "Zappe Zappa". Depuis les années 2000, il multiplie les aventures musicales : Phileas band, la Fontaine et le Gaucher, 2G, le trio Melody Makers.
